Shipping & Returns

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes! All books are carefully packaged and shipped by my partner Lulu Press Inc.

When will I recieve my order?

I process a book order as soon as it is placed, and printing time usually takes 3-5 days. You can expect to receive your order within the month of ordering, as well as email updates about the status of your order.

Expedited shipping

We offer an expedited shipping method in case you want to get your book faster than the Standard shipping. Please note that express delivery will cost a little extra compared to other shipping methods.

What is your return policy?

We do not accept any returns or exchanges except in the case where you received a damaged book or if a parcel gets lots in the shipping process we will replace it.

How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping by mail costs $6, while expedited shipping costs $14.

My art supplies & style

What paint do you use?

I most commonly paint with gouache.

What brands do you use?

My sketcbooks are 100% cotton page books from Hahnemuhle. My gouache is from Daniel Smith, and black paper pad (300gsm) is from Fabriano. My brushes are from Kum Germany. I get all these supplies from my local distributor Prime Art.

Can you teach me how to paint?

Yes! I have my first video course "Learn Fantasy Illustration with Gouache on Black Paper" out now.

Who or what is "Kiara in the Forest"?

My name is Kiara, and I primarily illustrate the fantasy settings from my written stories which so happen to be forests. Without a doubt my favourite subject matter to paint are trees, moss, and foliage with a fantasy twist.

Course

When does your course run?

My illustration course is self-paced with over 4 hours of video content. Anybody who is enrolled will have lifetime access to the course, as well as any new bonus sections that will be added in the future.

Is your course beginner friendly?

Yes, the videos are beginner friendly and cater to more experienced painters. In the course I cover some basic aspects about using gouache and its techniques before delving into using it on black paper.
